While there is a tonne of excellent and easily accessible material about resume writing all over the internet, below is a general outline of what most employers expect. If you add a personal touch, that's fine, just remember to ensure that all the relevant information related to your experiences and skills are covered.
N.B. Make sure you pay as much attention to your covering letter as to the resume! This can be the difference in gaining the position you are applying for and is an opportunity to make you stand out from the crowd.

[Try to provide the names and contact details for at least three people you have recently worked for. Ideally your referees will know you from a position of employement, however references resulting from the voluntary work or educational pursuits are also acceptable.]
